For the legs, we continue working the same way as we did for the upper body. Starting with the left side football joint, we create some animation and paint some blended midpoints with the paint weight tool (using Add and flooding with a low value). Once happy, we make sure everything is unlock and mirror the weights, checking that everything has mirrored correctly.
The boots are not combined with the trouser mesh, so when mirroring we have to select them individually.
