Below are two concepts so far, the main cell and the nucleus. For the cell, I decided to experiment with the appearnce a bit, making it a bit more whimsical/ monstrous. Also, I have decided to place the cell in a test tube/ bottle, it would seem very odd for it to just be floating about. I want to play with a form of light that would radiate from the cells, inspired by a picture on my influence map. However, this all comes down to what I'm able to construct in Maya.

As there seems to be no set colours for cell and nucleus (it all comes down to the dye uses I believe), it was fun playing with the main colours that I have found. Also, as I want these to have textures, I have placed a paper overly/ multiply. The cell nucleus will open up so we can see the chromosomes and centrioles inside, and the word "Interphase" will appear across the top.
