From Script to Screen - Character Influence Maps

For my main character, I'm still figuring out parts of his personality. I wanted his back story to be him working as a bomb specialist in the army during WW2, and served out in the front line for a while. I was considering about him having an ailment or injury, so he was honorably discharged. Once he had returned to London and had recovered, he decided to serve in the home guard, deactivating unexploded bombs in london and training new recruits. As men was enlisted in WW2 between 18 to 41, it would be best if he was on the older spectrum of the bracket, returning home around the middle of the war and this animation happen quite a few years after the war had ended.

Below are some more Influence maps, there are pictures of older male character designs to help in my own creation. Also, I made one of the war time clothing and army uniforms. There is still a lot to consider,  but small pieces are starting to come together.

Some designs, ranging in various ages.
