From Script to Screen - Revised Story 1

Going with the second story line, I have thought a little more on how to start filling it out. In terms of comedy, I am contemplating going down the lines of Dad's army, Black Adder and Mr. Bean (Mr.Bean was influenced by silent films). This was the comedy could be seen as more slapstick and outrageous.Although, I'm still not sure on how to apply the comedy, So I'm hoping  little more communication with my tutors will help me work this out. Plus some further research.

For the story, there is a few more ideas I would like to play with, one which is as follows:

Storyline 2 Extended    (*BDE = Bomb Disposal Expert)
Act 1
 - BDE walking dog, comes across small local theatre.
 - BDE stops for a second, and enters the theatre with his dog.
 - BDE reminiscing about playing here as a child/ receiving local reward for bomb disposal.
 - Dog runs off, starts sniffing around outside, picks up a sent then starts digging/ wonders off.
 - BDE sits on stage happily still thinking.
 - Dog returns with something in its mouth.
 - BDE Calls the dog over, puzzled about what is in its mouth (possibly muddy).
 - BDE tries to get object from dog, comes up against resistance and game of tug starts.
 - BDE manages to get object
 - Once inspecting realises it a unexploded bomb. (firstly worried then relieved)
 - Dog jumps up excitedly, BDE move bomb away to side but dog catched the pin in its mouth.
 - Dog then swallows pin.
Act 2
 - Bomb starts to tick.
 - BDE panics, looking and running around.
 - Sees sword on the wall/ sees in prop box after throwing everything out.
 - Uses rusted sword to cut wires.
 - Bomb still ticking.
 - Throws bomb into the back of the theatre (behind stage).
 - Dog runs past and brings bomb back, dropping it happily at BGE feet.
 - Bomb starts to tick faster.
 - BDE sees hatch to under the theatre, runs over and lifts the door, throwing bomb down.
 - BDE runs outside and covers, Dog running around him thinking its a game.
 - Nothing happens, BDE confused.
 - Local drama teacher walks past BDE, BDE jumps up and tries to stop him going into the theatre.
Act 3
 - Drama teacher laughs and carries on walking in, lift up hatch and dog runs down to grab the bomb.
 - Drama teacher tries to give it to BDE, covering away.
 - Drama teacher explains its a prop/ toy.
 - When BDE looks, the bomb has opened up with a little flag poking out (bang written on flag).

There are still parts to figure out, like the type of bomb and the location of the theatre. I was thinking of a small local theatre in a quiet village, so I need to sketchups so theatres to gain an idea of them. Another suggestion was maybe an open-air theatre, like at Fort Amherst. London style was the original idea, and I feel this could work giving the right direction. Also when it comes to a talking script, I would like to go with as little speech as possible. I want the emotions to be perceived by the actions/expressions rather than by spoken word.
