Today we are learning the basics of Adobe Premiere and Affect Effects. Adobe Premiere is used for animatic storyboards and video editing, and can help in applying audio to animations.
Using 4 provided videos, we made a length of film with transitions, fading in and out to white, and applying an audio file called "Going Home". Premier doesn't save files but make links, so its important to keep all the data together, and then locate when needed. Like Maya, Premiere needs to render to process the information placed, and once completed should then be exported as a H.264 file for the best quality.
Video Effects
Following the video above, we moved onto adding video effects. This involved speeding up/down, playing with video size, rotating, and placing visual effects such as blur and overlay.
Locating links to files. |
Placing 4 videos together using monitor grid snapping. |
Adding keyframes to videos for effects.
