Perspective Practise and Maya

Started the basics of Auto Desk Maya at UCA today. Following instruction by our tutor, we created building blocks so we can learn shape manipulation. This lesson included learning  how to extude, creating duplicates, adding colour using HyperShade (Blimm) and move/scale/rotation controls. I found this highly enjoyable, and look forward to future Maya lessons.

Hypershade (Blimm)

Going on from this, a challenge was set to make at least 7 different designs made from these blocks (we can add more if wanted), this will allow a better understandign of Maya before starting main projects. So following are some shapes I've made so far:

No. 1

No. 2

No. 3

No. 3 (Forward View)

Perspective Practise

Also, I have been trying to practise 1, 2 ans 3 point perspective. From these tutorials, I can tell I may need to practise a bit more. These are quite rough as they was quickly done.

I will have to practise 3-point perspective quite a bit more
