Before Jumping into modelling, I decided to do some more research on bedroom furniture and to explore shapes. Creating some mood boards and highlighting areas I found the most interesting, the aim is to try and create some of these elements in my own models. As a style, keeping to white wood with a little "princess" flare feels like it would be interesting and mixing this with a different range of toys.

When it comes to the modelling, there are some areas that was highlighted by a professional modeller online. These are:- Irregularity
- Asymmetry
- Exaggeration
-Proportions
- Thickness
- Variation
- Level of detail
-Avoiding 90 degree angles.
A lot of animations studios uses these rules in different levels of variation, (Pixar is more subtle compared to Sony Pictures/Illumination). However, I don't want to go OTT with these, so I will try to keep them subtle as possible. I may model the assets first and then then go back to makes some final tweaks.
